 LOVE GONE

The dying embers of resentment smoke and smoulder
in the dissolute ashes of  a forgotten future
As I step gingerly over the sharp shards of broken dreams
The battered remains of lost hopes still linger
in the bitter wastes of despair
longing yet clutches me to her bony frame
and the acrid smoke of anger lingers
in the far reaches of my soul
Bewilderment shakes her long tangled hair
that reaches down in front of my eyes
eyes that sting with the beginning and end
  of rivers of unshed tears
  sorrow sleeps languidly beside me
tomorrow yawns at me from the empty chasm of the future
the past mocks me chillingly from the wings of my past life
  I will never forget you.

  SPIRIT GUIDE

 ( To Michael)
I am there in the dark in the peace of the night
I am part of the dawn's soft hush
I am there in the light of the daylight sky
as I sigh at the rush hour rush
I dance in the dust of the morning's light
I am a part of the dark in the sighing  night
I am there in the morn of the nigh high sky
I sit on a cloud when the sky does sigh
I am a beam of  the sun in the warmth of  the day
Healing the earth, showing you the way
I am there in the thunder when the skies are torn
I am a flake of  the snow when the winter is born
I am there in the wind sweeping over the plain

I am part of a drop in the tingling rain
 I am always with you.
